The Republic of Moldova is determined to become a future member state of the European Union, or the European integration is the only way for a peaceful development of the region. The opinion was expressed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs from Chisinau, Nicu Popescu, during a meeting in Brussels with the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi.

Inflation fell slightly in November but prices continued to rise
The annual rate of inflation fell to 31.4% in November, from 34.6% in October, as average consumer prices increased in November 2022 compared to October 2022 by 1.0%, compared to 3.5% in the corresponding period of 2021. According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the increase in average consumer prices was determined by the increase in prices for food products by 0.8%, for non-food goods by 0.9% and services provided to the population by 1.5%.
